Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 4 June 2026. By browsing, creating an account, buying, selling, messaging, reviewing, liking, commenting, or listing items on Hangah, you agree to these rules. Hangah is a marketplace platform with an official owner store and separate community sellers.
Hangah can remove unsafe listings, suspend accounts, refuse misleading content, limit liability for user-to-user disputes, and protect the brand when sellers or buyers break the rules.
Users must create their profile with a valid Gmail account and keep their contact details accurate. A new account starts as a customer account by default.
Customers can browse products, buy items, contact sellers, save favorites, manage orders, and update their profile without owning a store.
A user becomes a seller only after choosing to create a store. Store creation is optional and may require store details, logo, description, payment details, and seller approval.
Users are responsible for the Google account they use to access Hangah. If an account is misused, Hangah may restrict access while the issue is reviewed.
Every listing must show the real item, correct price in Ghana cedis, size, condition, color, and category.
Ella's Closet is the official Hangah owner store on the Home page. Community stores must appear separately in the Marketplace and must not replace the official Home page.
Checkout payments may be handled by third-party payment providers. A live order should be fulfilled only after payment is confirmed.
Sellers are responsible for clear delivery arrangements, pickup details, and honest shipping timelines.
Return or refund requests must be reviewed based on the item's description, photos, and agreed delivery condition.
Fake designer goods, unsafe items, stolen products, illegal products, offensive content, and misleading listings are not allowed on Hangah.
Buyers and sellers must communicate respectfully and must not scam, harass, or pressure other users.
Premium Store benefits can promote a seller's store, but they do not replace Ella's Closet on the Home page.
Users keep ownership of their photos and listings, but Hangah may display them inside the marketplace experience.

Except for Ella's Closet official products, Hangah acts as a marketplace platform and is not the seller of user-listed items.
Sellers are fully responsible for their listings, photos, descriptions, prices, item condition, delivery promises, and customer communication.
Hangah may review listings, but Hangah does not automatically guarantee the authenticity, quality, availability, or fit of items sold by users.
Hangah may edit, hide, remove, or refuse any listing, profile, message, image, or store that appears unsafe, misleading, illegal, abusive, or harmful to the brand.
Hangah may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, receive serious complaints, attempt fraud, misuse payments, or damage user trust.
Hangah may help review buyer and seller disputes, but users remain responsible for resolving issues linked to third-party sales, delivery, and item condition.
To the extent allowed by law, Hangah is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profit, missed sales, damaged reputation, user mistakes, or disputes caused by third-party sellers or buyers.
If a user breaks the law, uploads content they do not own, sells prohibited goods, or causes claims against Hangah, that user agrees to protect Hangah from related losses, costs, and complaints.
Hangah may collect account, order, listing, and communication details needed to operate the marketplace, prevent fraud, support users, and improve the service.
Buyer and seller messages are connected to products. Hangah may review, block, or remove messages if needed for safety, support, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.
Users must not post abusive, false, unsafe, or misleading comments or reviews. Hangah may remove unsafe comments and verified reviews must be linked to real purchases.
Hangah may charge a commission fee on successful sales completed through the platform. The applicable commission rate will be communicated to sellers and may be updated from time to time.
Certain seller accounts may be subject to subscription fees, platform fees, or other charges as communicated by Hangah before or during store setup.
Hangah may update these terms when the service, laws, payment rules, safety needs, or marketplace features change. These terms should be interpreted with the applicable laws of Ghana.

Last updated: 4 June 2026. This policy explains how Hangah collects, uses, stores, and protects information when people browse, create accounts, buy, sell, message sellers, like posts, or comment. Hangah is responsible for the marketplace data it decides how to use, and this policy is written with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) principles in mind.
Hangah uses personal information only to run the marketplace, protect users, support transactions, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations.

Hangah may collect Gmail account details, display name, username, profile photo, location, store details, product listings, photos, messages, likes, comments, orders, reviews, and support requests.
Hangah uses Gmail/Firebase Authentication to confirm real user accounts. Manual email typing is not used for account creation.
Data is used to create accounts, show seller stores, publish listings, send and receive messages, support purchases, manage reviews, display blog likes/comments, prevent abuse, and improve Hangah.
Hangah processes data because it is needed to provide the marketplace, handle user requests, protect safety, meet legal duties, and where needed, based on user consent.
Seller names, usernames, store details, item photos, prices, categories, public reviews, public blog comments, and listing details may be visible to other users.
Messages are stored so buyers and sellers can keep conversation history linked to a product. Hangah may review messages if needed for safety, support, fraud prevention, or dispute handling.
When live payments are connected, payment providers may process payment information. Hangah should not store full card details unless a trusted payment provider requires it.
Hangah uses Firebase and related service providers for hosting, authentication, database, storage, security, and app performance. These providers may process data needed to operate the site.
Hangah may use browser storage for theme preference, session experience, cart details, and demo fallback data. Firebase and Google services may also use technical cookies or similar tools.
Hangah uses account login, database rules, and reasonable technical measures to protect user data. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
Hangah may share necessary data with Firebase, hosting, storage, payment, support, delivery, analytics, or safety providers. Hangah does not sell personal data as a product.
Some providers may store or process data outside Ghana. Hangah uses trusted service providers and only shares data needed to operate the marketplace.
Hangah keeps account, listing, message, order, review, and support information for as long as needed to operate the marketplace, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal duties.
Users can update profile information, sign out, request correction, ask for account support, or request deletion where legally allowed and technically possible.
Users may ask to access, correct, update, restrict, or delete personal data where allowed by law. Hangah may need to keep some records for security, disputes, orders, fraud prevention, or legal reasons.
Hangah is intended for users who can legally buy, sell, and manage online accounts. Users should not create accounts if they are not allowed to use marketplace services.
The Hangah owner/admin may access necessary account, store, listing, message, order, review, like, and comment data to manage the platform, handle complaints, and remove unsafe content.

Browse Marketplace, view item details, add to bag, and confirm checkout when payments are connected.
Premium helps seller stores stand out with promotion features. It does not replace Ella's Closet on Home.
